The mosque, which was bought by a benefactor in 1984 and donated to the Directorate of Religious Affairs from the Ministry of Justice, and named as Kurtuluş Mosque, is among the historical mosques of the city.
The Kurtuluş Mosque, which has not lost anything from its former splendor like a historical treasure, and where 2 thousand people can worship at the same time, is one of the largest mosques in Gaziantep.
